Scope

This procedure is applicable to the calibration of digital temperature indicators and indicating regulators used with thermocouples or resistance thermometers, which are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired, and equipped with analog-digital converters. It is also applicable to the calibration of digital indicators and indicating regulators that use direct current, voltage, and resistance as analog electrical signal inputs.
Digital temperature indicators and indicating regulators (hereinafter referred to as instruments) include desktop, panel-mounted, and portable instruments.
