Scope

This document specifies the determination method for heavy metals (including lead, chromium, cadmium, copper, nickel, barium, zinc, manganese, strontium, arsenic, mercury, cobalt, vanadium, and antimony) in sludge and contaminated soil co-disposed in cement kilns. If a reference method is specified for a certain element, the reference method shall prevail in case of disputes. This document is applicable to the detection of heavy metals in sludge and contaminated soil co-disposed in cement kilns, as well as other materials designated to adopt this document.
