GB/T 41098-2021 Cranes—Safety—Load lifting attachments

Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements for detachable lifting attachments applicable to cranes, hoists, and manual lifting equipment, including:
——Steel plate clamps;
——Vacuum suction cups;
● Non-powered vacuum suction cups;
● Powered vacuum suction cups (pumps, Venturi tubes, turbines);
——Lifting electromagnets (battery-powered and mains-powered);
——Lifting permanent magnets;
——Electronically controlled permanent magnets;
——Hanging beams;
——C-type hooks;
——Lifting forks;
——Clamping attachments.
This document does not specify the following additional requirements:
a) High-level cleanliness required for lifting attachments directly contacting food or pharmaceuticals due to hygiene reasons;
b) Risks arising from handling hazardous materials (e.g., explosives, molten materials, radioactive materials);
c) Risks arising from operation in explosive environments;
d) Noise hazards;
e) Electrical hazards;
f) Hazards caused by hydraulic and pneumatic components.
This document does not apply to lifting attachments used for lifting people.
This document does not apply to slings, molten iron ladles, internal expansion lifting attachments, lifting buckets, double-flap grab buckets, or multi-flap grab buckets, or container lifting attachments.
