Scope
This standard specifies the methods and steps to be followed when assigning values to the enzyme activity concentration in reference substances and evaluating their uncertainties using a reference laboratory network.
This standard applies to assigning values to the enzyme activity concentration in reference substances and evaluating their uncertainties through a reference laboratory network. Clinical laboratories are encouraged to use enzyme activity concentration reference substances assigned in accordance with this standard to verify the traceability and accuracy of their routine testing items.
This standard does not apply to the evaluation of the uncertainty of measurement results by individual reference laboratories.
