Scope
This standard specifies the performance requirements and related conformity tests for non-accessible measuring instruments used for X-ray tube voltages below 150 kV. The standard also describes calibration methods and provides guidelines for estimating uncertainties under different measurement conditions during calibration.
Measurement applications in diagnostic radiology include breast imaging, computed tomography (CT), dental radiology, and X-ray examinations. This standard does not address the electrical safety requirements for the safe use of such instruments; these requirements are specified in GB 4793.1-2007.
