Scope

This document specifies the system composition, basic functions, performance characteristics, in-vehicle system management, vehicle requirements, the main integration technical requirements of the on-board satellite communication earth station used in mobile environments in the Ka band, electromagnetic compatibility, service life, environmental adaptability, as well as general requirements for component marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document is applicable to on-board mobile communication stations that access Ka-band geostationary orbit satellites and use satellite fixed services.
