Scope

This document specifies the requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, classification and marking, and technical documents for fuel (gas) storage tanks at fuel (gas) stations that adopt barrier explosion-proof technology. This document applies to the design, manufacture, installation, and acceptance of fuel (gas) storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as "storage tanks") at fuel (gas) stations. The technical requirements for storage tanks at gas stations in this document only apply to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage tanks. They do not apply to compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquefied-compressed natural gas (L-CNG) storage tanks.
