GB/T 19889.14-2010 Acoustics—Measurement of sound insulation in buildings and of building elements—Part 14:Guidelines for special situations in the field
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 19889 specifies on-site measurement of airborne sound insulation and impact sound insulation. It supplements GB/T 19889.4 and GB/T 19889.7 by providing guidelines for sound insulation measurement under special on-site conditions not directly covered in GB/T 19889.4 and GB/T 19889.7.
Note: The standards GB/T 19889.4 and GB/T 19889.7 (collectively referred to as the basic standards) provide detailed measurement methods under ideal on-site conditions. However, they do not provide information on how to conduct appropriate measurement setups in non-rectangular rooms or rooms with significant differences in scale from ordinary living rooms, nor do they give measurement guidelines for large rooms, elongated rooms, staircases, and coupled rooms. The formulation and application of this part will help improve the reproducibility of on-site sound insulation measurement in buildings and avoid time-consuming arrangements at actual measurement sites, making the implementation of measurement work under special on-site conditions more standardized.
This part is mainly applicable to sound insulation measurement in rooms with a volume of less than 250 m3 in buildings such as residences, schools, and hotels.
When measuring according to GB/T 19889.4 and GB/T 19889.7, it is not required to use this part unless otherwise agreed upon.
