Scope

This standard specifies the determination of manganese content in manganese ores by potentiometric titration and ammonium ferrous sulfate titration.
This standard is applicable to the determination of manganese content in manganese ores and manganese concentrates with a vanadium content (mass fraction) not exceeding 0.05%. The determination range (mass fraction) is: potentiometric titration for manganese content ≥ 15.00%; ammonium ferrous sulfate titration for manganese content 8.00%~60.00%.
