Scope

This standard specifies the basic technical requirements and principles that should be followed for the provision, activation, metering, evaluation, and compensation of ancillary services for grid-connected power plants. This standard applies to grid-connected power plants (including self-owned power plants) participating in grid operation, as well as provincial and higher-level power dispatching agencies. Power dispatching agencies below the provincial level may refer to and implement this standard. This standard does not apply to the electricity spot market and the electricity ancillary services market.
