Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, safety, marking, and testing requirements for pressure gauges used in welding, cutting, and similar processes.
This standard applies to spring tube pressure gauges used in welding, cutting, and related processes with a pressure of up to 30 MPa, as well as in the welding of liquefied acetylene and liquefied gas. This standard does not apply to pressure gauges used by acetylene producers during the acetylene production process.
