Scope

This standard specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation, and storage of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVAC) resins. This standard applies to ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers prepared by polymerizing ethylene and vinyl acetate as monomers under high pressure. The vinyl acetate content (mass fraction) in the copolymer is 3% to 40%.
