Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 30924 specifies the naming system for ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVAC) thermoplastic materials, which can be used as a basis for classification.
1.2 Different types of EVAC thermoplastic materials are distinguished by a classification system based on the values of the specified characteristic properties and the recommended applications and/or processing methods, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers, and reinforcing materials, etc.:
a) Vinyl acetate content;
b) Melt mass flow rate.
