Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions of "Xiangjiangyuan" eggplants, the production environment, land preparation and fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging and storage, waste disposal, product quality, recordkeeping and preservation, and other requirements. This document applies to the production of "Xiangjiangyuan" eggplants. Main technical content: (1) This document stipulates the requirements for the production environment, land preparation and fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging and storage, and waste disposal of "Xiangjiangyuan" eggplants. (2) The environmental conditions of the production area shall comply with T/XJY 1001-2021 "Quality of the Production Environment for 'Xiangjiangyuan' Vegetables", and requirements for land selection are also specified. (3) Based on the current successful experience and practices of "Xiangjiangyuan" eggplant production, this document stipulates the full-process cultivation and management requirements from land preparation and fertilization, seedling cultivation (including variety selection, sowing time, seedling management, and strong seedling specifications), transplanting, field management (including water management, fertilizer application management), harvesting, and waste disposal.
