GB/T 32808-2016 Valves—Model designation method

Scope

This standard specifies the method of model numbering and code representation for valves, as well as examples of model numbering. This standard applies to the model numbering of all types of valves, including gate valves, globe valves, throttle valves, butterfly valves, ball valves, check valves, control valves (regulating valves), diaphragm valves, plug valves, drain valves, plunger valves, pressure relief valves, steam traps, air release valves, safety valves, shut-off valves (for power stations), and other special-purpose valves (such as oxygen valves and valves used in hydrogenation units).
