Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of brake pads for high-speed EMUs (hereinafter referred to as "brake pads"). This standard applies to synthetic brake pads and powder metallurgy brake pads for CRH series standardized high-speed EMUs (with a speed greater than 200 km/h).
