Scope

This document specifies the classification and designations, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass fiber sewing threads (hereinafter referred to as sewing threads). This document applies to smooth twisted yarns made from glass fiber raw yarns that have been degummed, twisted, and coated. They are mainly used for sewing glass fiber filter cloths, glass fiber sewing felts, and other glass fiber products.
