Scope

This document describes the determination methods for the loss on ignition, silica, aluminum oxide, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, potassium oxide, and sodium oxide in dolomite used in the glass industry. This document is applicable to the chemical composition analysis of dolomite used in flat glass, but it is not suitable for the chemical composition analysis of dolomite with an iron oxide content lower than 0.05%.
