Scope

This standard specifies the classification, design and selection requirements, and installation requirements of pipeline compensation joints (hereinafter referred to as compensation joints).
This standard applies to the design, selection, installation, and acceptance of compensation joints specified in GB/T 12465—2007. Rubber corrugated compensation joints can also be used for reference.
This standard does not apply to the design, selection, and installation of metal corrugated expansion joints.
