GB/T 9734-2008 Chemical reagent—General method for the determination of aluminium

Scope

This standard specifies a general method for determining aluminum by colorimetry using murexide ammonium (aluminum reagent) and chromotrope S. The detection range of the spectrophotometric method using murexide ammonium (aluminum reagent) is 0.4 μg/mL to 2 μg/mL (calculated as Al), and the detection range of the visual colorimetric method is 0.2 μg/mL to 2 μg/mL (calculated as Al); the detection range of the spectrophotometric method using chromotrope S is 0.01 μg/mL to 0.2 μg/mL (calculated as Al), and the detection range of the visual colorimetric method is 0.008 μg/mL to 0.2 μg/mL (calculated as Al).
