GB/T 9736-2008 Chemical reagent—General method for the determination of acidity and alkalinity

Scope

This standard specifies a general method for determining acidity and alkalinity by titration analysis.
This standard is applicable to the determination of acids and alkalis in water-soluble reagents. For non-water-soluble reagents containing water-soluble acids and alkalis, after extraction with water, they can also be determined in the aqueous phase using this method.
When determining acidity or alkalinity using this standard, according to the specification values and the amount of samples, the titrating volume of the standard titrant solution for alkali or acid used shall not be less than 0.1 mL.
