Scope
This standard specifies the flange dimensions of centric ball bearings and angular contact ball bearings with flanges. The other external dimensions of the bearings are specified in ISO 15.
The tolerances of the flanges are specified in ISO 492; the tolerances of the flanges for precision bearings used in instruments are specified in ISO 1224-1.
