Scope

This part of the "Automatic Sprinkler Fire Extinguishing System" specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transportation, storage, etc. for plastic pipes and fittings used in automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing systems.
This part applies to the chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) plastic pipes and fittings (hereinafter referred to as pipes and fittings) used as distribution pipes and distribution branch pipes in wet systems installed in places with fire hazard levels classified as light hazard and medium hazard I according to GB 50084—2001 (2005 edition). Other plastic pipes and fittings can also be used as reference.
