Scope
This document specifies the accounting boundaries for greenhouse gas emissions from various processes in steel enterprises, the accounting methods for greenhouse gas emissions from these processes, data acquisition and quality requirements, and the content and format of reports. This document applies to the accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions from the coking process, sintering process, pelletizing process, blast furnace ironmaking process, converter steelmaking process, and electric furnace steelmaking process in steel enterprises.
