Scope

This standard specifies the conditions, methods, and acceptance criteria for the load-shedding test of steam turbine generators in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, including the test of shutting down without stopping the reactor, the test of load-shedding to no-load, and the test of load-shedding to plant power supply. This standard applies to the load-shedding test of various capacity new pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants after the first loading, and also applies to the load-shedding test of already commissioned pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
