Scope

This part of GB/T 4857 specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures, and contents of test reports for spray test equipment used in testing transport packaging and unit cargo. It can also be used as a pretreatment method for packaging before other tests, and to study the reduction of packaging strength caused by water spraying. This part is applicable to evaluating the resistance to rain of transport packaging and unit cargo, as well as the protective ability of packaging for the contents. It can be used as a single test or as a component of a series of tests.
