Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, code and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of door-opening and pushing devices for building evacuation (hereinafter referred to as door-opening and pushing devices).
This standard applies to door-opening and pushing devices for building evacuation in environments ranging from -10°C to 60°C. Other door-opening and pushing devices for evacuation may be used as a reference for implementation.
