Scope

This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from coal-fired, oil-fired, and gas-fired boilers of various capacities and purposes, except for pulverized coal power generation boilers and coal-fired, oil-fired, and gas-fired boilers with a capacity of more than 45.5 MW (65t/h). It also applies to the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, the design of environmental protection projects, the acceptance of environmental protection upon completion, and the management of air pollutant emissions after commissioning. Boilers using biomass fuels, blast furnace gas, or coal-based gas, water-coal slurry, or boilers burning or co-firing with other fuels shall comply with the concentration limits for air pollutant emissions from coal-fired boilers specified in this standard. This standard does not apply to boilers of various capacities that use municipal solid waste or hazardous waste as fuel.
