Scope
This document specifies the general requirements for elemental analysis using wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and phase analysis using X-ray diffraction. This document is applicable to the determination of scale and corrosion products in the thermal system of thermal power plants. The mass fraction range of elements (from C to U) is 0.1% to 100%, and the mass fraction range of phases (with crystal structure) is 1% to 100%.
