Scope
This part of GB/T 14506 specifies the determination methods for the content of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in silicate rocks.
This part is applicable to the determination of the content of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in silicate rocks, and also to the determination of the content of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in soils and aquatic sediments.
Determination range: Flame photometry, for the content of 0.5% to 20% potassium oxide or sodium oxide. Flame atomic absorption spectrometry, for the content of 0.05% to 8% potassium oxide or sodium oxide.
