Scope

This standard specifies the type and dimensions, technical requirements, and basic requirements for marking and packaging of helical groove taps. This standard applies to machine-used helical groove taps for processing ordinary threads. The thread accuracy of the taps is manufactured according to three tolerance classes: H1, H2, and H3.
