Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designations, dimensions, allowable deviations in dimensions, shapes, measurements of dimensions and shapes, weight, and numerical rounding for hot-rolled steel plates and strips.
This standard applies to single-roll steel plates (hereinafter referred to as single-roll steel plates) with a rolling width of not less than 600 mm, wide steel strips, longitudinally cut steel strips, and continuously rolled steel plates.
