GB/T 18400.5-2010 Test conditions for machining centres—Part 5:Accuracy and repeatability of positioning of work-holding pallets
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18400 specifies the inspection methods and tolerances for the repeat positioning accuracy of various workpiece clamping plates (hereinafter referred to as clamping plates) on machine tools and the positioning accuracy of a set of clamping plates.
This part is applicable to single machining centers with multiple clamping plates, but not to machining center manufacturing systems. In manufacturing systems, the positioning accuracy of workpieces or workpiece clamping fixtures depends on the fit between the clamping plates and the receiving devices. Only when the inspection tools are placed at different positions on the machine tools exactly coinciding with the origin of the linear axis, can the inspection results of this part be extended to the entire manufacturing system. However, this is actually difficult to achieve and prone to errors, because the origin of the linear axis is affected by the repeat positioning accuracy of the axis.
