Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for reduced nickel powder, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and the contents of contracts (or purchase orders).
This standard applies to nickel powders obtained by reduction from nickel-containing materials such as nickel oxalate, nickel carbonate, and nickel oxide, and is intended for use in industries such as hard alloys, diamond products, powder metallurgy, and rechargeable batteries.
