Scope

This document specifies the accelerated life test method for cathodic protection mixed metal oxide anodes in concrete environments. The results of the accelerated life test can be used to compare the durability of different metal oxide anode materials and to evaluate whether the anodes meet the design life requirements at rated current output.
This document is also applicable to other impressed current anode systems buried in concrete, which can be fixed with appropriate modification devices for anodes of different geometries.
