Scope
This standard is applicable to the design of fuel assemblies for pressurized water reactors that use zirconium alloy as the cladding tube, UO2 fuel pellets, and/or UO2-Gd2O3 fuel pellets, or UO2 fuel pellets coated with ZrB2 as fuel. The design of fuel assemblies using other cladding and fuel materials can also be referenced for implementation.
