Scope

This document specifies the terms, structural types, model markings, dimensional specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for universal spherical rotating pipe joints. This document applies to thermal pipelines with a maximum operating temperature of 350°C, a nominal pressure of no more than 4.0 MPa, and a nominal diameter of DN80mm to DN600mm, used to compensate for thermal expansion and contraction or pipe swing/rotation in thermal pipelines carrying liquids, steam, or gases. This document does not apply to toxic, flammable, explosive, or corrosive media.
