This standard specifies the items, methods, inspections, qualification judgments, and test reports for functional tests and bench tests of marine platform cranes.
This standard applies to all types of marine platform crane tests.
This standard does not apply to special types of cranes such as wave compensation cranes, as well as suspension frames and/or emergency escape devices.
