Scope

This standard applies to N-class vehicles, O-class semi-trailers, semi-trailer tractor vehicles, and semi-trailer trains engaged in the road transport of dangerous goods, as well as other operational vehicles. Non-operational vehicles may refer to and use this standard as a guideline. This standard does not apply to mobile explosives manufacturing units used for on-site explosives production.
