Scope

This document specifies the sucrose extraction-EDTA complexometric titration method and the glycerol-anhydrous ethanol extraction-benzoic acid titration method for determining the content of active calcium oxide. This document is applicable to the determination of the content of active calcium oxide in calcium-based desulfurizers used for the pretreatment of steelmaking molten iron, with a measurement range (mass fraction) of ≥60.00%.
