GB/T 37514-2019 Animal and vegetable fats and oils—Determination of mineral oil

Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, sampling methods, sample preparation, analysis steps, and result expression for the qualitative detection of mineral oil in animal and vegetable oils.
The first method of this standard is applicable to the detection of mineral oil in animal and vegetable oils with a wax ester content of less than 0.5%, with a minimum detection limit of 0.5%; the second method is applicable to the detection of mineral oil in animal and vegetable oils except for dark-colored sea buckthorn crude oil, with a minimum detection limit of 0.3%.
