Scope

This part of GB/T 4341 specifies the testing methods for the Shore hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as the hardness tester) used to determine Shore hardness according to GB/T 4341.1.
This part is applicable to the direct testing method for inspecting the basic functions of the hardness tester and the indirect testing method for comprehensive inspection of the hardness tester. The indirect testing method can be used independently for regular periodic inspections of the hardness tester in use.
