Scope
This standard specifies the layers, entities, components, interfaces, implementation processes, evaluations, isolation, and repair of a trusted connection architecture, as well as the specific implementation of each interface. It addresses the two-way user authentication and platform authentication issues when a terminal connects to a network, and enables a trusted network connection between the terminal and the network.
This standard applies to trusted network connections between terminals and networks that have a trusted platform control module.
