Scope

This part of GB/T 18910 applies to field-type passive monochrome liquid crystal displays. It provides the quality assessment procedures, inspection requirements, screening sequences, sampling requirements, and details of test and measurement methods needed to evaluate liquid crystal displays. For all products manufactured in accordance with specified processes, the capability approval procedure may replace the appraisal approval procedure (see Section 11.7 of the QC001002 procedure), but the capability approval procedure for liquid crystal displays is currently under consideration. Unless amendment requests are proposed in Section 4.7, all requirements in this specification remain valid.
