GB/T 22036-2008 Coast-by methods for measurement of tyre-to-road sound emission
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test method for measuring the tire noise installed on test vehicles or trailers under inertial sliding conditions. Inertial sliding refers to the condition where the engine is off, there is no power drive, the transmission is in neutral, and the test tires are in a free rolling state. The tire noise test results obtained by the vehicle method are closer to the actual effect than those obtained by the trailer method, but the tire noise is affected by the suspension parameters; the test results obtained by the trailer method are closer to the actual noise generated by individual tires. This standard applies to car tires and truck tires defined in ISO 3833. It is not applicable to measuring the tire noise (sound field distribution) of vehicles under normal driving conditions, nor to measuring the traffic noise and its harmfulness at a given location under normal driving conditions of vehicles.
