GB/T 22036-2017 Coast-by methods for measurement of tyre-to-road sound emission
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test method for measuring the tire noise installed on the test vehicle or trailer under inertial sliding conditions. Inertial sliding refers to the condition where the engine is off, there is no power drive, the transmission is in neutral, and the test tires are in a free rolling state. The tire noise test results of the vehicle method are closer to the actual effect than those of the trailer method, but the tire noise is affected by the suspension parameters; the test results of the trailer method are closer to the actual noise generated by a single tire.
This standard applies to new car tires and truck tires. It is not suitable for measuring the tire noise (sound field distribution) of vehicles under normal driving conditions, nor for measuring the traffic noise and its harmfulness at a given location under normal driving conditions of vehicles.
