This part of GB/T 223 specifies the method for determining the calcium and magnesium content in pure iron, cast iron, steel, and high-temperature alloys using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.
This part is applicable to the determination of calcium content with a mass fraction of 0.0005% to 0.006% and magnesium content with a mass fraction of 0.0005% to 0.20%.
