GB/T 5274-2008 Gas analysis—Preparation of calibration gas mixtures—Gravimetric method

Scope

This standard specifies the method of preparing calibration gas mixtures by weighing, which is used to prepare bottled calibration gas mixtures with a predefined accuracy. It is only applicable to gas mixtures of gaseous components or components that can be completely vaporized, and no reactions occur between the components or between the components and the bottle wall. For the preparation of gas mixtures based on predefined uncertainty levels, this standard provides a preparation procedure. This standard includes multi-component gas mixtures (including natural gas) and multi-stage dilution gas mixtures, which can be considered special cases of the single-component weighing preparation method. This standard also specifies the verification procedure for the content of components in calibration gas mixtures prepared by weighing. Compared with other methods of preparing calibration gas mixtures, the accuracy of calibration gas mixtures prepared and verified by weighing is the highest.
