Scope

This document specifies the test methods for equipment or components under simulated solar radiation conditions. This document is applicable to equipment and components on the ground. The purpose of this document is to reproduce the actual application environment (temperature, humidity, and/or moisture) of equipment or components under sunlight or sunlight filtered by window glass, and thereby understand the impact of equipment or components under simulated solar radiation conditions with moisture present. This document specifies two test methods: Test Sa: Thermal Effect Test and Test Method Sb: Climate Aging Test.
