Scope
This standard specifies the methods of eddy current flaw detection for copper and copper alloy rods and wires, including through-type and spot-type eddy current flaw detection, comparison samples, instruments and equipment, operating procedures, and evaluation of results.
This standard is applicable to the eddy current flaw detection of surface and near-surface defects in rods and wires with an outer diameter of Φ2 mm to Φ100 mm. For rods and wires of other specifications, the detection can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
